Daniel A. Dermer
Daniel Dermer is founder and CEO of Dermer Dreams, a New Jersey based nonprofit organization that engages students in the fight against hunger.
Daniel Dermer is the Founder and CEO of Dermer Dreams, a New Jersey based nonprofit organization fighting hunger. Dan founded Dermer Dreams in 2012 with a goal of engaging all students in the fight against hunger. Dan has spent the last 10 years dedicated to working with students to eradicate the hunger problem.
He is also the founder and CEO of Dermer Management, Inc. which was formed in 1992 and currently manages 30 Manhattan-based properties including Cooperatives, Condominiums, and rental properties. Mr. Dermer has been directly responsible for the operation of each property managed by Dermer Management, as well as being a licensed real estate broker since 1993. Dermer Management has been in business since 1992 and has a proven record of providing outstanding service and dedication to its customers.
Mr. Dermer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society from American University, 1991 and holds several Board of Director positions.
Alyse Dermer
Alyse Dermer is the Vice-President of Dermer Dreams. Her primary focus is student outreach. This includes working with the students, schools, and counsellors to organize and enroll the students for both the Neighborhood Captain and Leadership Program. Alyse uses her sales expertise to continually expand Dermer Dreams’ reach throughout the state of New Jersey.
Prior to entering the nonprofit sector, Alyse was the president and founder of AB Executive Search, a recruiting firm that focused on placing Wall Street executives. Alyse placed executives across Equity Capital Markets, with a focus on Trading, Sales and Analytics, She ran the firm from 2006 to 2020. Prior to starting AB Search in 2006, she spent eight years as an executive recruiter with a focus on Domestic Equities.
Prior to starting AB Search in 2006, she spent eight years as an executive recruiter focusing on positions in domestic equity sector.
Before entering the recruiting industry, she spent six years in the venture capital arena, where she was involved in providing the seed capital for technology and biotech related start-ups.
Alyse earned a B.B.A from George Washington University in 1991.
